About
What we are doing?
GraphAccount is an independent publication focused on how artificial intelligence is changing accounting work.
AI is moving quickly into bookkeeping, reconciliation, financial reporting, audit, tax, month-end close, and firm operations. But the gap between what software promises and what accounting professionals can safely rely on remains large.
GraphAccount exists to examine that gap.
We research what AI can automate today, where it fails, what controls it requires, and where professional judgment remains necessary. Rather than treating AI as either a threat to accountants or a solution to everything, we look at the actual work.
OUR COVERAGE
Our coverage includes accounting workflows, AI-enabled accounting software, automation, AI agents, implementation, controls, and emerging tools for accounting firms.
We also conduct practical tests. When possible, we give AI systems the same accounting task, compare their outputs against defined criteria, and document where they succeed and where they make mistakes.
Our primary question is simple:
What can an accounting firm implement now, and is it worth it?
GraphAccount is written for accountants, firm owners, finance professionals, and others responsible for deciding how AI should be used in accounting.
We are independent. Our aim is not to promote AI adoption for its own sake. It is to produce useful, evidence-based research that helps accounting professionals make better decisions about technology.
Superblog
GraphAccount is an independent publication about AI in accounting. We examine what AI can automate, where it fails, and what still requires professional judgment. Our research focuses on real accounting workflows, software, AI systems, and practical implementation. We test claims and tools to help accounting professionals decide what is actually worth using.
